Dutson’s experience grew over the next 25 years into responsibilities as a Superintendent and Project Manager and eventually running a $40mm construction company on behalf of a well-respected Class 'A' office developer who developed such prestigious projects as The Oracle Corporate Headquarters (Redwood City), 10 Almaden (San Jose), Adobe Headquarters (San Jose) and The Wells Fargo Center (Sacramento). Previous projects included high-end offices for some of the areas most prestigious law firms, award winning restaurants and corporate campus tenant improvement projects including numerous fast-track schedules.

Rick has a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, but he grew his career in the Bay Area. Recognizing opportunities to run his own company, he relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area, and now resides in Utah. Mr. Dutson has built a company founded on the same values that resulted in great success in the Bay Area - integrity, quality, timeliness, accuracy, commitment and a passion for each project.

Over the years DBI has evolved to provide construction services including Tenant Improvements, Retail, Dining, Ground-Up and Specialty Projects. It is expected that the company will continue to attract high-quality team-members including employees, subcontractors and vendors to expand opportunities for each and provide the best construction services available in the marketplace.
